The government of Botswana has numerous schemes, grants and loans to support local entrepreneurs but to the government’s disappointment these businesses often fail. According to a report by Stanbic Bank at least 80% of local start-ups fail within the first 3-5 years of the establishment phase. According to this report it is due to lack of business acumen,
poor and or no record‐keeping on the performance of business and poor business management. It is in view of this that the Moeti Practicum Institute has embarked on this course to cub deficiencies that exist in the market.
This course provides individuals with the knowledge and understanding of entrepreneurship in business, and offers them the opportunity to apply entrepreneurship practices which are required to establish a small business enterprise and keep it running.
Who Should Attend?
A minimum requirement of JC with one year experience, BGSCE and those aspiring to be entrepreneurs.
