The travel, tourism and hospitality industry is the second largest economy boosting sector after diamonds. Therefore it is only natural for the government to want to exert all efforts in training the locals about this industry. The Ministry of Wildlife and tourism has
embarked in community outreaches to educate the locals of tourist destinations about the importance of managing these attractions. It’s not all about chefs and waiters, participants will be able to excel in many areas such as hotels, events management, travel, sport, transportation and retail, amongst many others.
Who Should Attend?
Out of school youth, tourist destination communities, Junior Certificate with at least one year experience, BGCSE, managers willing to be equipped in travel, tourism and hospitality knowledge.
